When we heard of holiday, mostly everyone is very happy that we get a time where we can celebrate, have no classes or even no work for a day. Holiday is loved by many, simply because we get to spend time with our family, friends and even do the things we can't do when we have job or school to attend to. But, the question is how do we celebrate our holiday.
Some people celebrate their holidays with a grand feast where there are many foods, games, gifts and people that gather in a same place; some that are not so fortunate spend it with less food on their table, sleeping due to lack of money to buy things they need; or going in the streets and hoping that someone o somebody would give them a gift or a food that they can share with their family. Holiday season is a very fun and much awaited by everyone.
In my perspective, the meaning of holiday is to celebrate, share and give. Sharing your blessings and Giving something to someone who's in need is a huge impact to someone's lives. This Holiday season, I can make difference by giving some of the blessings I have receive to someone who much need that. Giving doesn't mean that you also need to receive something, we have a saying that "it's better to give than to receive. Applying this quote in our lives will gives us contentment and being grateful to what we have, because, not everyone is as privilege as you; so, it's better to give something that you have plenty of stocks to someone than waiting for something to receive. You don't know that those simple giving of yours will have a huge impact to someone, isn't it heartwarming knowing that someone is smiling or someone is happy because of what you gave. It's better to give not just this holiday season but do it every day to someone and make a huge impact to their lives than receive something in return.
